As a young girl, my dream was to work in nature.

At the tender age of 2yrs old, I fell in love with caterpillars, butterflies and flowers, specifically wild flowers. I enjoyed spending time in my aunts herb garden. She was a keen gardener and her garden was something I always looked forward to visiting. My love of her and all things 'nature' has never waned.

Nature is so inspiring!

 

Isn't it amazing how nature has evolved a recipe for the right chemical components to offer as food, nutrients and, remedies to all living beings. From plants to animals,  to sustain, protect and heal themselves.

​

Having graduated in Ecology and Conservation, I rattled doors that simply weren't mine to open. Undeterred, I built on my scientific education by training with 'Aromahead Institute' whose founder (Andrea Butje) is the protégée of the godfather of aromatherapy himself, Mr Robert Tisserand. 

​

My training covered everything from deep organic chemistry to packaging, and everything in-between. With stringent end of course exams, research paper and case studies, I couldn't have asked for a better education to become the Certified Clinical Aromatherapy Practitioner I am today.

​

My massage skillset came through ITEC, the golden standard for quality massage, which I achieved in 2014.

 

I hold membership with the IFPA (International Federation of Professional Aromatherapists), as well as surpassing courses with Penny Price Academy for CPD (Continued Professional Development). 

 

What I love about what I do is ten fold. From meeting many wonderful and diverse people, with the wonderful and diverse array of issues, to problem solving by working with them to find the right solution to the issue. And receiving great comments and feedback as clients revel in the efficacy (and fragrance) of a remedy. And don't forget the lovely recommendations that help me continue doing what I love most, playing in nature!

It hasn't always been an easy ride to get to where I am today, but it's been incredibly rewarding.

 

 I am full of gratitude for the tenacity, honesty, dedication and integrity that has carried me along the way. These are the qualities that remain at the heart of me and my business, at the heart of aromatherapy and, at the heart of nature.
